[#0] Let the party begin :)

I have some reasons why i stopped sending my planephotos to screening on internet galleries.
JetPhotos.org - 3 weeks of queue, 1200pix of wider side.
Skrzylda.org - some time ago the queue was 12-18 hours, now is 3 days, but they reject almost my every non-CAVOK shot because of "soft, blurred" or "soft, oversharpen" or even just "soft".
It WAS good school of photo-processing when the queue was about few/dozen hours, not 3 days.

I still actually love Airplane-Pictures.net - but i send them my most interesting frames, compositions with great light and so on. Because of lack of time for regular spotting (or wrong organization of my time) i don't send them my photos frequently.

OK, all that DOES NOT MATTER anymore ;) From 1st of January 2015 i'm gonna publish here my photos taken in the next year and the further and so on ;)

Now, some of my pics from my spotting carrier during 2009-2014 :D

2009.04.25 - first spotting (you cannot even imagine how difficult it was to find shot in good quality) Boeing KC-135R Stratotanker


2009.05.16 - 12:01:01 (as EXIF says) - my most special photo of all time - and any further photo in any conditions will be not more special for me anymore

Tu-154LUX (special version of Tu-154M - with few seats wrong to direction of flight - special for Polish diplomacy forces) This - reg. 101 - crashed on 10th of April 2010 in Smoleńsk - killing Polish president Lech Kaczyński, his wife and 94 other Poles.


2009.07.22 - "The Catcher in the Rye" - one of my favorite shots ;)
also - not to taken anymore in the future - LOT sold all of his b767, threshold 33 of RWY 33/15 was moved, and the most important - Sołtys from famous Sołtys' Field changed his rotation of crops and he is not cultivating wheat anymore ;)


2009.08.28 - An-124 - Ruslan - i was waiting with Robert Grądalski for about 5 hours to its start. In that time we shared my camera, so we had to play rock-paper-scissors to decide who is gonna take the photo of starting Ruslan.

Because i won and i thought about everything except taking plane with some ground to show its size - i decide to publish this photo - which is even more sharpen than shot from start ;)


2009.09.20 - two shots - one artistic and one special:

one of my most creative and invented-before-shot airplane frame ;)

LOT's b767 - in the background old (long-time-ago-demolished) terminal with Warsaw spotters' favorite viewing terrace :)


2009.10.23 - 1st "Night in Aviation Institute" event :D

As for today it was also my last night in Aviation Institute ;)


2010.04.08 - another maybe less important but also very special photo - start of Yak-40 to Smoleńsk, probably with some journalist, because PM of Poland - Donald Tusk - started with Tu-154LUX dozen minutes before (unfortunately i was on Paluch  too late to take also that plane)

It's my only shot of flying Yak-40 before its retirement from Polish Air Force


2010.04.25 - Anniversary spotting - Wirażowa 6:00am - great light ;)

13.06.2010 - Anniversary 15th (and sadly last) Góraszka Air Picnic - all photos processed WITHOUT ANY CROP ;) Special thing about the reg-006-plane is that was first public flight of SBLim-2 (Polish modification of MiG-15) after their official retirement in 1996 - they were pride of Polish Aviation in the '60.

2011.03.19 - Day of the first (and only as for today) landing of a380 in Warsaw - special flight of Lufthansa from Warsaw to Istanbul - i took thousands of a380 shots (and even one was accepted by screeners :P) so i'm gonna show you some atmosphere and additional shots from this day :D

It was cold, it was ugly weather with absolutely no sun, but the memories are superb ;)


2012.11.15 - First landing of LOT's Dreamliner - of course my photo of 787 is somewhere on galleries, but i have more interesting shot taken before first touchdown ;)

The weather was slightly better than at a380 - but it was cold like in January, not first half of November :D


2013.06.14 - my almost last spotting on Chopin Airport with 400D - actually the last was the next day - but my 747 JAF is not that interesting to publish it ;)

At that time i was quite tired with all disadvantages of my 400D and specially of my 75-300USM lens :P


2013.06.22 - the last spotting with 400D ever - Isrkas's show taken from Śląsko-Dąbrowski Bridge in Warsaw :)

400D was my first Digital SLR Camera, but i've left it without sorrow ;)



Full-Frame-Era  (6D)

First months with new body and new lens was very successful on galleries but without any new look on photography. First unusual shots i've taken in December - after almost 4 months with my 6D and 100-400L.

30.01.2013: The unusual thing about this shots (except light) is combination of taking photos starts from RWY29 at hill on Wykusz St :) - that's why even 400mm was too less


03.03.2014 - foggy morning, but excellent afternoon: at that time - it was one and only LOT's Dreamliner with special sticker (do not call it a livery :P) - then the sticker was removed, but SP-LRF was named "Franek" (little Francis)


14.03.2014 - my trip to Praha for Korean's a380. Korean looks everywhere almost the same, so i show more interesting liveries and spotting sides ;) this guy is actually taking photo from the ladder, but later, i show people using this haystack for taking better shots ;)


1.05.2014 - EPWA is not only airport in the boarders of Warsaw. We also have flying-club-airport (also with some medical, police and army helicopters) - EPBC - Warsaw Babice Airport :) It's c152 - but the distance from threshold of runway was too big to take nice photo with background :)


10.05.2014 - Days of EPMM Airport connected with 15th anniversary of Polish membership in NATO: I took a lot of shots during this day, but i haven't worked up any helicopter from Mińsk Mazowiecki before this post ;)


During July i was in Israel - i haven't taken my 100-400 there, but i managed to take this:
Douglas A-4 Skyhawk (21.07.2014) - that type will be retired from Israeli Air Force in 2015.


2014.08.02 - my first flight of sports plane - Cessna 152: Goal of the flight ;) Landing at Grądy airport (EPGY)


2014.08.22 - perfect day, perfect time, perfect light for Warsaw's favorite aircraft :D MD-11 touchdown


19.09.2014 Rainy September - because of lack of daylight afterwards and lack of my spare time in general - it was my last longer (non-night) spotting in this year: Now i can't wait till March when i will be able to go to Chopin Airport on afternoon and take some shots with nice sunlight ;) But of course i will have some free mornings and early afternoons so prepare yourself for some very fresh shots in January and February :)
